One-off solutions
If you want to help a child, but cannot or do not want to get involved in the long term, you can help solve a child’s specific problem.
Generally in the countryside people do not treat their children's health problems very seriously, unless they are particularly obvious. We have come across children that need glasses, but whose parents cannot afford to pay for them. Often their sight seriously deteriorates because of this, and in some cases even results in blindness.
There are other examples of children whose parents cannot afford to buy medicines they urgently need.
Occasionally emergency surgery is necessary in order to avoid serious health conditions in the future.
If you would like to contribute with a one-off solution, please let us know and we will let you know how you can help.
