Volunteering

We need motivated people in the following fields:

  • Psychologists
  • Education professionals with experience of dyslexia and similar conditions.
  • Social workers
  • Nurses and Doctors
  • Nutritionists
  • Artists to teach art or art teachers
  • Group leaders and activity co-ordinators
  • Teachers for academic workshops

Requirements

  • Must be over twenty one years old
  • Minimum work period is two weeks
  • The ability to speak Spanish is very important. However if do not speak Spanish but love working with children we will find a use for your skills! Voluntary work is satisfying but can be difficult due to cultural differences, local food and the weather.
  • Willing to work alone or in a team.
  • From experience we know that volunteers need to be very mature and flexible.

Important: We are unable to pick volunteers up at the airport. However, once you have been approved as a volunteer, we can give you information about airport pick-ups and other information relating to your arrival.
